Buying Wholesale Blank Clothing in the UK: A Bulk Order Guide

Make a sample order and a bulk order work together. Plan your style codes, size quantities and delivery cost before stocking a print business or launching a collection.

What wholesale blank clothing means for your order

Printers often search for wholesale plain T-shirts or bulk blank hoodies when they need undecorated garments for a production run. Check the actual supplier’s ordering rules and prices rather than assuming the word wholesale promises a trade-only account or a discount. At Plain Clothing you can order from one garment, and each selected colour and size shows its price.

Use a sample to settle the specification

Test the actual style, colour and core sizes you intend to buy. Fit, surface, label details and fabric blends can differ between styles or colours. Approve the decoration and washing result, then keep the garment code and process notes as the specification for the larger run.

Make a size and colour quantity list

Write one row for each style, colour and size, with the required quantity. Check the intended wearer’s measurements against the selected size guide. Add an explicit allowance for production waste if your process needs it rather than quietly substituting sizes or styles.

Compare the landed garment cost

Include applicable VAT and delivery when comparing suppliers or planning an order. Plain Clothing’s DPD UK delivery is £8 plus applicable VAT. Delivery is free when the garment subtotal is strictly over £250 excluding VAT; exactly £250 does not qualify. If buying extra items only to reach the threshold, compare their cost with the delivery saving.

Check stock before booking a production slot

Stock information and delivery conditions belong to the exact variants you want. Check the current stock status and delivery page before promising a customer date. A catalogue listing or a product photo alone does not reserve stock or guarantee delivery tomorrow.

Inspect the order before adding decoration

Check received quantities, codes, colours, sizes and visible defects before printing, stitching or relabelling. Review the published returns policy before committing to a large run. Keep the packaging and order reference while resolving a mismatch, and do not decorate a garment you may need to return.

Common buying questions.

Can I mix different clothing styles in one basket?

Yes. Add the selected colours, sizes and quantities from the product pages. The basket combines the order and shows the amount payable.

Does a large order automatically qualify for a bulk discount?

Use the prices displayed for the selected variants. Plain Clothing does not promise an additional quantity discount; free delivery has its own published threshold.

Can a hobby maker buy the same blanks as a print business?

Yes. You do not need a trade account or a registered print business to order from Plain Clothing.
